Meditation on Love and Light

We take a comfortable seat and follow the preparation process to relax the body, calm the vital energy and mind, and gather our attention and awareness within, so that we can let go of thoughts about worldly matters and connect with silence.

It is important, as you repeat these phrases, to feel what you are saying and be aware of the “I am” and the inner silence within you. If someone is inclined and finds it helpful, they can imagine being bathed in golden or white light. Love and light are not two different things, but one, just as sunlight is both light and warmth at the same time.

Personally, I consider feeling to be more important than visualizing the light, but each person should do what helps them most to attune to love and light.

For those who choose to imagine the light, I would suggest that when they attune to the vibration of love or deepen their awareness of silence, they should let go of any mental imagery and stay in what they are experiencing. Love and light are related to inner silence. The deeper we enter into this silence, the more clearly and intensely we will experience love and light, that is, our spiritual or divine nature.

Once we have completed the preparation phase, we continue with the following affirmations-truths. We say, mean, and feel what we say, while being aware of the “I am” and the inner silence:

Oooomm… I connect with love and light (2x)
Love and light are the source of all that exists,
Love and light permeate the entire universe and all of my being,
Love and light permeate all of my being,
I am one with love and light, I am one with love and light,

I am love and light, I am love and light,
Only love and light exist, only love and light exist,
Om love and light, Om love and light,
Oooomm…, Oooomm…, Oooomm…

You can omit some of these phrases or create your own.

After the time we have decided to dedicate to this practice, we remain in silence for a moment without doing anything. We simply experience the inner state that has arisen from this meditation.

I connect with love and light

Love and light are constantly present both within us and outside of us (although, in reality, there is no “inside” and “outside”), but coarse egoic energies, like a dense cloud, prevent love and light from freely manifesting through us. Furthermore, our awareness and attention turn to the forms and experiences of the senses, the body, and the mind (thoughts and emotions), and we identify with them. Thus, although love and light are always present within us, because we are attuned-identified with external forms and our psychological formations (thoughts, emotions, etc.), we only experience them occasionally and partially.

Through this meditative practice, our goal is to consciously connect with love and light. To connect means to attune to love and light. It means turning our awareness, mind, and heart towards love and light. We open ourselves to love and light and feel them flowing through us. We connect with love and light more and more as we deepen in inner silence, and our ego quiets. Thus, the vibration of love and light (which we are) permeates our mind, heart, and vital energy, purifying and transforming them.
